Why We Built This

We spent years watching exterior cleaning contractors do everything right and still struggle with the same problem: finding the next job. They would knock on doors, buy shared leads from aggregators, run Facebook ads into the void, and hope that enough property owners picked up the phone.

Meanwhile, satellite imagery was getting sharper, computer vision was getting smarter, and nobody was connecting the two for the people who actually do this work for a living.

So we built Kestro. We pointed AI at every property in America and asked one question: which of these homes need cleaning?

The answer turned into the most targeted lead generation platform in exterior cleaning. No shared leads. No cold calls. Just verified properties with documented exterior dirt and damage, delivered exclusively to one contractor per territory.

The Founder

Built by an Operator, Not a Lab

Kestro was not born in a research lab or a venture-backed incubator. It was built by Michael Scott Cohen, a business operator and entrepreneur who saw the lead gen problem firsthand working with service contractors.

The options were terrible. Buy shared leads from Angi and race four other companies to the phone. Cold call from a purchased list. Knock on doors. Run Facebook ads and hope for the best. Every method burned time and money with no guarantee of quality.

Michael kept hearing the same thing from contractors: "I am great at the work. I just need someone to point me at the right houses."

So he built the thing that points. Kestro was designed from real contractor feedback, not theoretical product design. Every feature, every workflow, every pricing decision came from conversations with the people who actually run crews and close jobs.
